29 ALS to Anne Shannon (her cousin); Ballitore, 1776-1794.

Personal correspondence, from "the Retreat," Ballitore, Dublin, and other locations, concerning family, friends, health, books read, sermons heard, local travel, and conversations. One letter appears to be addressed to Anna Taverner. Many of the letters are addressed to "Nancy," and many contain letters from Sally Shackleton, Mary's sister, on the same paper. In one letter, Mary refers to meeting William Leadbeater, her future husband. Another letter refers to the birth of her daughter Elizabeth. Names frequently mentioned include Jo. Richardson, James Abell, Elizabeth Pike, Joseph Pike, Jo. and Mary Nicholson, Jo. and Mary Pim, Thomas Eyre (apparently a former suitor of Mary?), Anna Taverner, Edward Hatton, and cousins Sam Carleton and Jonathan Haughton.
